scotia bar

26th july 2017

Wednesday, 26th July at the Scotia Bar in Stockwell Street, Glasgow.

We want to talk about our aims and activities and about how we organise ourselves as a charity. We want to hear your thoughts and ideas. But we prefer talk to action so we promise the first part of the evening will be short.

The second - and more fun - part of the evening will feature a short set by two fantastic traditional musicians, Charlie Grey and Joseph Peach, who were shortlisted for the 2017 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award.
Then we hope to hear your poems and songs and stories and music about peace and war.
And at some point we'll have the traditional Scotia free sandwich break!

But now we got weapons
Of chemical dust
If fire them, we're forced to
Then fire
 them we must
One push of the button
And a shot the world wide
And you never ask questions
When God's on your side
