20th january        2018

Dove Tales took a break from events over December but were very excited about our next event, which was at 4.30pm on 20th January at Celtic Connections.

It was our first festival and our first big public discussion and was called The Human Cost of War.

It featuredDavid Pratt, foreign editor of The Herald, Mary Smith, author of Drunk Chickens and Burnt Macaroni, and Billy Briggs, freelance journalist and director of investigative publication, The Ferret.

Music was provided by traditional musicians, Charlie Grey and Joseph Peach.

Chaired by Jean Rafferty of Dove Tales.
