nights at the round table
7th November 2017
Nights at the Round Table are hosting Dove Tales in an event to support the Rohingya, an ethnic minority who have suffered years of persecution in their home country of Myanmar. In 2017 half a million of them have been forced to flee their homes because of ethnic cleansing by the Myanmar government. Most of them have gone to Bangladesh, where there are already many established refugee communities for the people of Myanmar.
There will be readings from Ray Evans, Anne M. Scriven and Kathryn Metcalfe. Chaired by Jean Rafferty.
Open mic following. Be there at 7pm promptly to secure your five minute slot.
And if we're lucky R.K. Wallace might treat us to some music.
