Stephanie Green is half Irish and half English and has lived in Edinburgh since 2000. Her pamphlet, Glass Works (inspired on a Writer's Residency at Edinburgh Art College) was short-listed for the Callum McDonald Award, 2005.

 

Her pamphlet Flout (HappenStance, 2015) is inspired by Shetlandic landscape, folklore and music and launched at StAnza.

 

Recently Berlin Umbrella, her poetry/sound collaboration with Sonja Heyer, launched in Berlin in 2018 and appeared at StAnza, 2020.

 

Her novel for young adults The Triple Spiral (Walker Books, 1989) is a tale of the supernatural. She has many years experience tutoring creative writing to adults, most recently at Edinburgh University but now freelance and she works part-time as a Dance reviewer.
