Born in Lanark, raised and educated in Coatbridge, Frank lived in London for over forty years (with a couple of years spent in Wales managing a recording studio). He returned to Scotland in 2017.

An accomplished musician, songwriter and seasoned performer he has played and recorded with Gerry Rafferty and Sinead O'Connor among many others.

He has also had success with his photographs (which he calls his foties) and has won awards for his work while living in London - the most prestigious being a Judge's Prize which was presented by Professor David Rayson of the Royal College of Art.
