Simon Berry is a poet and interviewer who was born in the Midlands, educated in Yorkshire, and worked for many years in Glasgow as a journalist and writer.
He is a former President of Scottish PEN and book pages editor on The Scotsman.
He has also lived in Sicily and Cyprus.
Now spends most of his time in the Highlands wandering around knocking on doors asking questions.
Had a first collection of poems published in 2014 (A Mask for Grieving & other poems, FTRR Press). Has also written a biography of Victorian city poet Alexander Smith (Applauding Thunder, 2013).
Currently working on a pamphlet collection entitled Anger Man Age.
